Because your signature box is still referencing a gif from your album, "http://www.tb1600.com/csp/thunderbird/Uploads/Users/MotorMac/PhotoAlbum/vqxrzzats1.gif" (which may not even be there). If you've deleted everything from your signature box and SAVEd it and it's still there, you're going to need Bedouin's help.

Afraid you're right PapaSmurf, beyond me. Signature was just a tiny gif, smaller than an emoticon, but suddenly big enough to fill the box under my posts. Affects all posts going way back as long as I've had a signature. While I deleted it, and turned off signature, reference you cite remained, so I deleted that, too. Doesn't matter what device/machine I post from. Odd that preview doesn't have it....?
Sorry, I can't seem to stop it.
